Sophomore Year
The first semester of this year surmised of ceramic and sculpture classes, as well as a performance class. Most of the work shown is progress documentation, and less of studio photos, but they all work to show my artistic process. During this time, I was also very busy working as a Conceptual and Character Artist for Tweaking Cats Studio, for our video game, Bellumentum. Work from this can be seen here, as well as a link to further information about the game.
I also made multiple collaborative projects with Prism Games, a game store located in Logan Square.
Figure Painting
As of March, 2024, I am still in this class, and will be updating this sections with pictures of paintings.

Performance Intro
This class was something I wanted to take for fun, and I wanted to do some more exploration in Performance Art after a brief introduction in my Contemporary Practices class Freshman year. I explored a lot in themes of trauma and self-harm, and I enjoyed my time in the class, even though I will most likely not be continuing in the department.

Specific Projects
The God of Decay
This was a sculpture assignment in which I made a large, half decayed hog out of wire, plaster, and cardboard, inspired by an original character of mine created for a Dungeon and Dragons campaign, set in the world of Minecraft. There was a secondary aspect of this project as well, in which a peer of mine added to the sculpture. Their addition can be seen with the spilling intestines and resting baby head in the last few pictures.

The Blaze empress
Similar to the God of Decay project, this was another assignment which I based on an original character for the same Dungeons and Dragons Campaign. However, this project was used in my ceramics class as my final, rather than a sculpture assignment.

Prism Games
At the tail end of the first semester, I worked with Prism Games in Logan Square to create a piece for them and their store. Prism Games is a games store that holds space for people to come and play table-top-role-playing games as a collective of individual parties. You can visit their website here.
I worked with their team to think of a sculpture that would connect to what some of the parties have done in their own Dungeons and Dragons games, in the world which was created by the store. It is currently displayed in their interactive and immersive space for the world, in the back of the store.
In March of 2024, I worked on another collaboration with them in illustrating a wall for a projection. The project was a surprise for a lot of the store's regulars for their large Dungeons and Dragons Epic, and a video of the animated transitions done by another regular, Mryna, is also attached below.
