BIOGRAPHY

Hello, my name is Sophia Anderson, and I am an Artist studying for my BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. 

I work in a variety of mediums and have done so for years. I do a lot of painting and sculpture at the moment, as well as traditional and digital drawings.

 I constantly get inspiration from the world around me and my experiences. I moved around a lot as a kid, and lived in Shenzhen China for two years, shaping my perspective of the world in unique ways. My art is affected as much by my experiences as it is other art, causing it to be about me and how I see both the world and myself. That does not mean it isn't shaped by my teachers and other artists as well, causing a justaposition of what it is, to just be mine.
